I was at a property auction last night and it was very exiting when some of the property was being sold for half a million or so “don’t panic it wasn’t me bidding” and the various types of property flats in Sheffield building plots in Leeds 3bed 4 bed flats, 2/3/4/ bedroom houses, some in good condition one was brand new,
all in all a cross section of property, a good auction should have and any good quality auction company would have that. a good auction house will tell you right up front how much it is all going to cost, with a full break down of the fees , tax ex-cetera all come in to the equation if your trying to make some money,
always make sure you know the cost of it before you commit to using the company the same as on line, BUT off line auctions charge both sides of the transaction, again make sure you know what that cost is as what you are buying may not be as cheap as you thought after adding the fee’s on to the purchase price that went under the hammer (gavel).
i wonder who is classed as a top auctioneer in the UK or if there is a league for who is considered to be the top of the class or the one that always gets good results.
Maybe that’s an area worth looking into, i think i could do it quite well to.
